Privacy Policy
Tucson Digital Deals (“we”, “us”) is a local deals marketplace for Tucson, Arizona, operated by Digital Official. This policy explains what we collect when you use tucsondigitaldeals.com, read our emails or list a business with us, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We don’t sell your personal information.
1. What we collect
When you get a deal or join our list. Your email address, your first name if you give it, which deal you asked for and when, where you came from (for example the printed flyer’s QR code, an ad, or a partner’s link), and the record of the consent you gave.
When you browse. Pages viewed, deals and businesses tapped (call, website, directions, share, save), approximate device type, browser, referring page and campaign tags in the link (UTM parameters), and your IP address. We use the IP address to prevent abuse and spam; we don’t use it to track you across other sites.
When you list, claim or advertise a business. Your name, business email, phone number, business details, the content you upload (logo, photos, deals), and your login for the partner dashboard. Payment for paid plans is arranged directly with Digital Official; we don’t take card numbers on this site.
Public business information. Our directory lists Tucson businesses using publicly available information (such as name, category, address, phone and website). If it’s your business, you can claim the listing to manage it, or ask us to correct or remove it at deals@tucsondigitaldeals.com.
When you contact us. Whatever you choose to include in your message.
2. How we use it
- To email you the coupon code you asked for (codes are only ever sent by email, never shown on the page).
- To send occasional local deals and updates from Tucson Digital Deals, if you joined the list. You can leave any time.
- To run partner accounts, verify that someone claiming a listing really represents that business, and respond to enquiries.
- To give businesses aggregate results — for example “42 people requested your deal this month, 30 from the flyer”. Businesses see counts, not who you are, and never get your email address.
- To measure which channels (flyer, email, social, search, ads) bring people to the site, so we can improve it and our advertising.
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and comply with the law.
3. Cookies, local storage & analytics
We use a small number of first-party browser storage items. Strictly necessary items run regardless; analytics can be switched off (see Your privacy choices).

We use Google Tag Manager to load the analytics and advertising tags on this site (for example Google Ads or Meta measurement). It loads only when analytics is allowed — if you opt out below, or your browser sends Global Privacy Control, Tag Manager and everything it would load stay switched off.
4. Advertising
We promote Tucson Digital Deals and the businesses on it through printed mailers, email, social media and online advertising — for example on Google and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). When you click one of our ads, the link carries campaign tags so we can tell, in aggregate, which ads work. The ad platforms themselves collect information under their own privacy policies when you see or click an ad on their services; you can manage that through your settings with Google (My Ad Center) and Meta (Ad preferences), or industry tools such as the DAA opt-out.
We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. We use Google Tag Manager (see section 3) to run the analytics and ad-measurement tags on this site; like all analytics here, they respect the choices below.
Sponsored listings. Businesses can pay for featured or sponsored placement. Paid placements are labelled “Sponsored” or “Featured”. Paying never gives a business access to your personal information.
5. Who we share it with
Only with service providers that run the site for us, under contracts that limit their use of it:
- Vercel — website hosting.
- Supabase — database, file storage and partner logins.
- Resend — sending email.
- PostHog — product analytics (only when analytics is on).
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a sale or merger of the business (in which case this policy continues to apply).
6. Emails & unsubscribing
Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link and our postal address. Unsubscribing stops deal emails straight away; a coupon you specifically requested is still delivered. You can also write to deals@tucsondigitaldeals.com.
7. How long we keep it
Subscriber records are kept while you’re subscribed and for up to 24 months after you leave, so we can honour the unsubscribe and keep required records. Analytics data is kept for up to 24 months. Partner account data is kept while the account is active and as needed for tax and legal records afterwards. You can ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).
8. Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop sending you email. Residents of states with privacy laws (such as California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and Oregon) have these rights by law, plus the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for targeted advertising — which we don’t do — and not to be treated differently for using them. Email deals@tucsondigitaldeals.com from the address in question; we’ll verify the request and reply within 45 days. You may use an authorised agent. If we decline a request you can appeal by replying to our answer.
9. Your privacy choices
Turn analytics off for this browser here. We also honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends it, analytics stays off automatically. Saving deals, getting coupons by email and the rest of the site keep working either way.

10. Children
Tucson Digital Deals is for adults. It isn’t directed to children under 16 and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
11. Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to the people who need it, and partner accounts are password-protected. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you give us and will notify you if the law requires it.
12. Changes & contact
If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top, and for significant changes we’ll tell subscribers by email.
